MFL teacher required at an Ofsted good school located on the outskirts of Bury to cover a maternity cover from September 2019.

Due to a member of staff going on maternity leave, this is the ideal opportunity for any MFL teacher looking for a temporary role for the 2019/2020 academic year. The Headteacher wishes to appoint an MFL teacher who can offer both French and Spanish to GCSE level.

This school can accommodate both full time and part time (0.8) dependant on the preference of the successful MFL teacher.

  • Full time MFL teacher required from September 2019
  • Leading a timetable consisting of both French and Spanish KS3 and GCSE
  • 12 month temporary contact - maternity cover
  • Ofsted graded Good secondary school
  • Pay in line with MPS/UPS based on the 2019/20 scales
  • Applicants must hold UK QTS

The incoming MFL teacher will be required to be fully committed to taking on a full time role which will include; full lesson planning and marking responsibilities, attending departmental meeting, attending termly parents evening and running intervention sessions to identified learners in preparation for summer examinations.

The successful applicant will be joining a friendly and supportive team in a school were you will be supporting well behaved pupils who are focused on their education. The school was judged as 'Good' throughout all areas with 'Outstanding' features. Located on the outskirts of the city centre of Bury, the school has good transport links to the city centre and other surrounding areas including; Rochdale, Bolton and Salford.
