Are you a Mathematics graduate pursuing a career in secondary teaching and are looking to gain relevant experience as a teaching assistant prior to beginning your teacher training?
If so, please see the details of our client school located in Bolton, who wish to appoint a Mathematics graduate to provide additional support within their Maths department.
* Full time position – Temporary post through till the exam period (July 2017)
* Supporting pupils aged 11-16 within their Mathematics studies
* Applicants are required to hold a degree in Mathematics and hold previous experience providing Mathematics tuition
* Attractive rate of pay (£50-£60 per day) and invaluable experience
Due to the upcoming examinations, this large secondary school located close to Kearsley; wish to put additional Mathematics support in place for pupils who require additional tuition. This is the ideal opportunity for those wishing to gain further experience prior to teacher training, whereby you can increase your subject knowledge and experience of utilising a range of teaching and learning strategies.
This is a full time position to start ASAP in which the successful applicant will be required to support pupils ranging in ability; from lower attaining to gifted and talented in preparation for their GCSE examinations.
Located in Bolton, the school is just a short drive from the M61 motorway. Access is straight forward to the surrounding areas and the public transport links make Bury, Salford and Manchester easily accessible via the local bus routes.
