A successful specialist science college in Northampton are working closely with Teaching Personnel in order to recruit a Maths teacher to start in January 2019. The school are looking for an engaging and motiving teacher of maths with the ability to teach key stage 3 to key stage 5 confidently. The school are also looking for an ambitious individual that will be compatible with the ethos of the school and can join the department on permanently on a full time or part time basis. The school are rated 'good' by Ofsted, who also commented that the students have an extremely positive attitude which makes a strong comment on the teaching ability. The school boast a curriculum which is designed with the intention of challenging students while also encouraging their progression and providing them with a vast choice.

• Be highly motivated and dedicated to achieving results
• Be passionate about maths with the ability to deliver creative and innovative lessons tailored to a variety of abilities
• Have knowledge of the current maths curriculum
• Posses both excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
• Monitor the progress of pupils and ensure that standards remain high
• Be able to work cooperatively with young people and communicate effectively
• Have excellent organisation skills required to plan and prepare inventive lessons
