Well respected Secondary School in Cheshire East require a Maths teacher after Easter to fill a vacancy within a high achieving Maths department. In 2014 the school achieved a good grading in all areas which was a credit to the leadership and direction of the Head teacher.

This is an excellent opportunity for an upcoming Mathematician who has recently qualified and looking to work in a supportive and ambitious Maths department. Student achievement has risen rapidly in recent years in Mathematics so you will be expected to continue this trend of increasing student attainment for the upcoming exam period. Initially on a long term supply basis this post is likely to continue into the autumn until December.

Situated in the SK11 post code the school has regular and local public transport routes in the vicinity. The schools ethos for students is that “learning and achieving will, in the short term, boost self-confidence and self-esteem.”

The successful Maths teacher will need to take on full responsibilities for this Maths post of planning, marking and student assessment. If you are interested in this post you will need to have experience teaching Maths across KS3, KS4, QTS in the UK, school based references and to be eligible for a fully enhanced DBS.
