Maths teacher

Due to an upcoming maternity absence in their Maths department, our client school are looking for a skilled Mathematics teacher to join them on a full time basis post May half term.

- May/June 2019 start date, expected to continue for 12 months

- Situated on the Manchester/Tameside border with good locality to the M60

This position is ideal for an enthusiastic Mathematics teacher looking to join a department and school with a strong climate for learning, and students who are attentive and well-behaved both during lessons and around the school. The school was most recently graded as Good across all areas by Ofsted, an improvement on their previous rating showing that the comprehensive action plan has paid dividends in shifting the culture of the school. From starting points which are below average, pupils make good progress and leave with attainment at least in line with, if not greater than, national averages across a range of subjects including Mathematics.

The school is located a short distance from the nearby M60 motorway, linking it to the surrounding LEAs easily, along with direct links from Manchester city centre including a nearby tram stop. The school has on-site parking available for all staff.
