Are you a qualified Maths teacher looking for your next permanent position in education?

Our client secondary school situated in Calderdale have an upcoming need for a qualified Maths teacher to join them on a full time basis for the remainder of the academic year.

Situated in East Lancashire, our client school is an established secondary school serving the catchment areas of Bacup, Todmorden and Heptonstall amongst other towns. The school is well regarded and has a historical record of being an excellent school for students to attend. Situated in picturesque settings with excellent transport links to Rochdale, Hebden Bridge and Burnley this is an ideal school for anyone looking to avoid heavy traffic areas such as the city centre.

As this position is expected to become permanent, the school are looking for the incoming Maths teacher to assume full responsibility for planning and marking schemes of work, as well as supporting in the preparations for upcoming GCSE examinations. The Maths faculty is led by an experienced HoD and the incoming Maths teacher will join a department with a collaborative approach to planning and a passion for encouraging students to meet and exceed their expectations.

To be considered for this position, the incoming Maths teacher will need to have experience teaching Mathematics at GSCE extensively along with holding a relevant teaching based qualification in Mathematics.
