Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting a Maths teacher on behalf of our client secondary school located in Bolton.

This is a fixed term role initially on a 12 month basis; however there is the possibility of a permanent position for the ideal applicant.

  • Full time Maths teacher required from September 2018
  • 12 month fixed term role with permanent opportunity available
  • Ofsted graded Good secondary school with an excellent management team in place
  • Both experienced Maths teacher and NQT's welcome to apply
  • Pay in line with MPS/UPS (£22,917 - £38,633)

Due to an internal promotion within this high achieving 11-16 mixed comprehensive secondary school, a rare opportunity has emerged for any Maths teachers looking to secure their next position in a school that holds an excellent reputation.

The incoming Maths teacher will be required to take on full responsibilities including; planning, marking, attending departmental responsibilities, assisting in writing schemes of work and attending parents evening. In return the successful Maths teacher will be provided with regular CPD opportunities, the opportunity to work within a supportive and close knit Maths department, regular progression opportunities due to ever increasing pupils on roll.

This school is located in the heart of Bolton and has roughly 900 pupils on roll. The school serves a good catchment area and pupils respect their teachers and peers. Located just a few miles from Bolton train station, the school is easily accessible via the M60 or M61 making the surrounding areas; Bury, Salford, Manchester and Wigan easily commutable.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
