Are you an experienced Maths Teacher looking for an exciting opportunity working in a secondary school achieving grades above the national average? If so, Teaching Personnel are seeking a passionate, hard working and experienced Maths Teacher, with a proven track record of achieving high grades, to fill an open vacancy within our client secondary school. The Maths Teacher role will involve teaching students in Key stage 3 and 4, with a range of different academic abilities from bottom to top set.

  • Maths Teacher, teaching students aged 11-16
  • Secondary School located in Northampton and part of a successful academy trust
  • Competitive pay, paid on a weekly basis through our PAYE scheme
  • Position starting in September lasting the full academic year
  • Opportunity for supporting extra curriculum activities
  • Working within a cohesive, forward thinking and hard working team

With the new academic year approaching, the head of the Maths department is seeking a Maths Teacher who has previously taught secondary school students and has a proven track record of maintaining high achieving performance. Applications from experienced as well as newly qualified teachers are welcomed as relevant support will be provided. There are multiple opportunities to work collaboratively to ensure that staff members continue to improve their practice. In September 2016, the Trust launched a new Learning Alliance which supports the development of all staff across the Trust. The Learning Alliance encourages collaboration, reflection and active learning amongst professionals.

Improvement of the school has been significant and consecutive; encouraging staff to believe this upward trend will continue. High quality teaching is paired with an extensive curriculum and extra-curricular activities which allows student to develop into well rounded people. The Academy occupies a large, split-level site with extensive sports facilities, including a swimming pool and green spaces. There was a recent major PFI building project which has delivered impressive accommodation to support learning across the curriculum. You will be joining a dynamic and diverse team that works hard to ensure that all of their students are able to make progress. With clear advancement towards Outstanding status, the school is in an exciting stage of its development!
