Teaching Personnel are working on behalf of a secondary school in the Didsbury area of South Manchester to aid their recruitment for a Maths teacher on a temporary basis. Required from Easter or sooner if possible, this high achieving secondary school are looking to recruit a talented and hard working Maths teacher who can positively impact pupils view on the subject and ensure they have a strong chance to achieve their potential in the summers exams.
(With a strong network of support throughout the school, applications are welcome from Maths teachers of all experience levels; this includes newly qualified Maths teachers for an immediate or Easter start).
• Maths teacher, full time from April or sooner if possible
• Well regarded secondary in the Didsbury area of Manchester
• Easily accessible via M60 and public transport to the city centre
• Maths GCSE pass rates exceeding 65% (A*-C in 2016)
• Newly qualified and experienced Maths teachers welcome to apply
• Initial supply appointment with a view to securing school contract
Best described as a modern school with a culture for achievement and diversity, this is a slightly larger than average school with excellent facilities and first rate support and training opportunities. Ofsted grade this as a good school, with some elements being classes as outstanding. The successful Maths teacher applying will be working in a close knit faculty, teaching Maths to pupils who succeed and on the whole make progress beyond the national average statistics.
