Popular and first choice school within Milton Keynes is seeking an established Mathematics Specialist to join them on a full-time basis for the Autumn Term, starting in September for maternity cover.

We work closely with this school to support their recruitment needs. They are a well estebalished comrehensive setting with successful results and reputation in the area. This school have a strong focus on academic achievement and develop the young people to be independent and resilient learners. They are immensely proud of our inclusive ethos and of the positive relationships that they have built with parents and the local community and want to welcome a new and motivated Maths Teacher to their Maths department on a long-term basis. 

  • Full-time availability required
  • Working with students across Key Stage Three and Key Stage Four, with possibility of some KS5
  • Planning and marking responsibilities

This successful secondary school are looking for an exceptional Maths teacher who would like to work in a supportive and collegiate team. The role would involve teaching across Key Stage 3 and 4 Maths, supporting them through their GCSE exams. You will be an essential part of their learning and settlement into the new academic year as they have faced a turbulant time academically, and will need the extra support to help achieve in this new year with ease. This is an Oftsed 'Good' School which are striving to become Outstanding. 

To be considered for this role, you must;

-          Be able to drive

-          Have QTS / PGCE / QTLS

-          Have planning and marking experience

-          Be willing to partake in the schools CPD courses

-          Provide support to students for progression

-          Have excellent behaviour management skills

-          Be passionate and innovative in your learning approach

-          Be calm, caring and conscientious

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
