Maths Teacher required for a Catholic Secondary School in the Ilford area (GBP28,000 - GBP45,000)

The School

A Catholic Secondary School in the Ilford area is seeking a Maths Teacher to cover a maternity position at the school from January 2020. The school was rated “GOOD” in all categories by Ofsted and boasts incredible exam result. This is one of the best schools in the local area, with students coming in from all areas of East London.

The school is located a 2 minute walk from the nearest station with good connections to Central London and Dagenham/Romford/Brentwood.

The Role

The school’s successful Maths department is seeking Maths Teacher to work full-time covering a maternity position. You will have outstanding qualifications and experience, whilst being able to educate your students to a level where they are achieving the outstanding results the school is renowned for. This role is perfect for an established Maths Teacher, seeking a new challenge and work in an ideal teaching environment.

Requirements
**Maths Teacher – East London**
**Maths Teacher – Ilford**

  • Possess a “child only” DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for one (GBP44).
  • Ideally hold a UK recognised teaching qualification (QTS, PGCE).
  • Ideally have a degree in Maths or similar subject.
  • Have experience as a Maths Teacher to a class of 30 at Key Stage 3 and 4.
  • Have a passion for Maths Teaching and the ability to educate and motivate pupils so that they achieve their full potential in the subject.
