Our client faith school based in Bury, Greater Manchester are looking to appoint a Maths Specialist teacher, in order to cover an adoption leave starting in the new academic year.

If you are a Maths specialist teacher/ NQT, looking for your next long term post starting in September 2018, then this may be ideal for you.

  • Full time Maths Specialist Teacher - Adoption leave - September 2018.
  • Must hold QTS - both experience and newly qualified teachers are welcome to apply.
  • Subject specialist experience in the secondary Key Stages 3-4 is essential; any further experience is highly advantageous.
  • Promote the school values and Ethos.
  • Pay in line with MPS/UPS - £22,917 - £38, 633.

As the Maths Specialist Teacher you will be expected to;

  • Lead a full time table delivering your subject specialism, with respect to the school values and ethos.
  • Plan, mark and monitor the subject specialist sessions, aimed at raising pupil attainment and engagement.
  • Promote a positive growth mind-set amongst pupils in accordance to our principles.
  • Confidently manage behaviour in and outside the classroom.

This larger than average, Ofsted rated 'Good with Outstanding features' secondary school, with just over 900 pupils on roll, is easily accessible via the M60 and the surrounding areas; Rochdale, Salford and Bolton. The school also has various public transport links for those who do not drive with links throughout Greater Manchester.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
