Full-time opportunity available for an individual seeking to gain invaluable experience supporting with secondary Maths.

Are you a recent Maths Graduate wishing to pursue a career in secondary teaching in the future? Do you have a desire to support the learning of pupils within Maths?

If so, Teaching Personnel are currently working in partnership with a large mixed comprehensive secondary school near to Manchester city centre. The school wish to appoint a skilled Maths Graduate to work alongside the Maths department to support the learning of all pupils across Key Stage Three and Key Stage Four.

It is preferential that the successful Maths Graduate has previous experience working with young people, either through tuition or a support role.

-          Full-time Maths Graduate teaching assistant position available - September 2020 start date.

-          Gain invaluable experience prior to completing PGCE/teacher training course.

-          Earn up to GBP325 per week.

-          Supporting pupils in class with work, and on a 1:1 basis.

-          Reporting to the Head of Maths.

-          Covering Maths lessons in the absence of the class teacher.

-          Planning and arranging tailored sessions for pupils.

Our partner secondary school has recently been praised for an improving Progress 8 Score, meaning all pupils are making the expected progress throughout their education. The role of Maths Graduate teaching assistant will be to ensure that all pupils are challenged and pushed to achieve in Maths, whilst having the suitable support network around them.

Located towards the north of Manchester city centre, the large mixed comprehensive secondary school can be reached via the M60 motorway. Public transportation links also provide a direct route to the school with tram and bus services from Oldham, Rochdale and central Manchester.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
