Job description

Position Title: Mathematics/English 1:1 Tutor

Location: Carlton, East Midlands, Nottinghamshire (NG4)

Employment Type: Temporary, Part-Time with Flexible Hours

Salary: £25 - £30 Per Hour

About the Role: TP Tutors, a respected education provider, is currently seeking committed and experienced Mathematics/English Private Tutors to enrich our team in Nottinghamshire. We welcome applications from tutors across various postcodes ranging from NG1 to NG32.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver personalised one-on-one tutoring sessions in Mathematics and English.
  • Design and implement engaging and impactful lesson plans.
  • Provide constructive feedback and guidance to aid students in enhancing their academic performance.
  • Proficiently handle students up to GCSE/Functional Skills level.

Requirements:

  • Possession of a PGCE or equivalent teaching certification.
  • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, English, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in tutoring or teaching.
  • Familiarity with the UK education system.

Skills:

  • Ability to effectively engage with students on an individual basis.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Dedication to fostering student progress through hard work and commitment.
  • Resilience and patience in managing challenging learning situations.
  • Proven track record of facilitating student achievements in academics.
