Exciting Opportunity: 1:1 Tutor Needed in Calverton (NG14)

Do you possess a passion for guiding students towards academic success? We're searching for a dedicated tutor to join our team in Calverton, where you'll play a pivotal role in nurturing students' potential.

Role Description:

As a 1:1 tutor, your primary responsibility will be to deliver personalised tutoring sessions tailored to each student's unique needs. Whether it's reinforcing core concepts, tackling challenging subjects, or preparing for exams, you'll provide the individualised support necessary for student advancement. Sessions may cover a variety of subjects and cater to students of different age groups, allowing for a dynamic and engaging tutoring experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop customised lesson plans designed to target specific areas for improvement.
  • Utilise varied teaching strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.
  • Foster a supportive and encouraging learning environment conducive to student success.
  • Monitor student progress closely, providing feedback and guidance as needed.
  • Collaborate with students, parents, and educators to ensure alignment with academic goals and objectives.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working as a tutor or educator, preferably in a 1:1 setting.
  • Strong proficiency in relevant subjects and grade levels.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping students succeed.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
