Job description

Are you a Tutor or Teacher based in Newark, or someone eager to embark on 1:1 teaching? We're eager to connect with you!

We collaborate with a diverse array of Local Authority Clients and independent provisions, including:

  • Virtual Schools (specifically serving Looked After Children)
  • SEN teams supporting pupils with EHCP
  • SEN teams aiding pupils without EHCP but lacking school placement
  • Specialist independent provisions catering to SEN pupils

We seek tutors who embody the following qualities:

  • A heartfelt commitment to positively impacting the lives of vulnerable young individuals
  • Open to part-time or full-time opportunities
  • Proficient in crafting and delivering engaging lessons across core subjects and any other required subjects, tailored to individual student needs
  • Experienced in addressing SEN, including SEMH, anxiety, Autism, and ADHD
  • Knowledgeable about Attachment Disorder and the effects of Childhood Trauma
  • Capable of adeptly managing challenging behavior
  • Skilled in motivating disengaged students and fostering their participation in education
  • Comfortable collaborating professionally with foster carers and residential home staff
  • Competent in delivering comprehensive, constructive feedback highlighting student strengths and areas for growth

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
