Mainstream Teaching Assistant
Teaching Personnel have an exciting opportunity for a Mainstream Teaching Assistant to join our committed and supportive team of Teachers, Teaching Assistants and Cover Supervisors in the Llandielo Area.

What will the role involve?
- Supervise and provide particular support on a 1:1 basis and deliver group activities from the teacher planning.
- Assist with the development and implementation of individual Education/Behaviour Plans and Personal Care programmes.
- Set challenging and demanding expectations and promote self-esteem and independence.
- Provide feedback to pupils in relation to progress and achievement under guidance of the teacher.
- Establish constructive relationships with pupils and interact with them according to individual needs.
- Promote the inclusion and acceptance of all pupils.
- Encourage pupils to interact with others and engage in activities led by the teacher.
The ideal candidate will:
- Hold a valid driving licence with access to own vehicle (Essential).
- Be enthusiastic, imaginative, open, and reflective.
- Be friendly, enthusiastic, and reliable.
- Be registered (or willing to register) with the Education Workforce Council (EWC).
- Have an Enhanced DBS (or willing to register)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
