Job Title: Teacher Assistant - Llandeilo

Salary: £83.85 - £85 Per day
Job Duties:
- Assist the teacher in planning and delivering lessons
- Support students during classroom activities and provide individual attention when needed
- Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Supervise students during breaks, ensuring their safety and well-being
- Assist with classroom management and behaviour management strategies
- Prepare teaching materials and resources as instructed
- Provide feedback on student progress to the teacher
- Assist with administrative tasks, such as record-keeping and organising classroom materials
- Collaborate with the teacher and other staff members to support student development
Required Qualifications:
- GCSE qualification or equivalent
- Valid DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check or willing to apply for one.
- Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC) or willing to apply for one.
Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:
- Prior experience working in an educational setting is desirable
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Proficiency in using basic computer applications and educational software
- Knowledge of different learning styles and strategies
- Understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures
Working Conditions:
The Teacher Assistant will primarily work in a classroom setting, supporting the teacher and students during school hours. The role may involve occasional supervision of students during breaks and off-site activities. The position is temporary and requires full-time availability. The successful candidate will need to hold a valid driving licence.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
