Are you a Support Assistant with experience supporting children and/or adults with mental health difficulties, challenging behaviours and special educational needs?
If so, we work closely with a Leyland based School which provides education for pupils KS2-KS5 and the pupils either have special educational needs or/and challenging behaviours. The School is smaller than average, however, they are currently expanding and the role is due to become permanent.
The School requires a candidate to work mainly on a 1:1 and small group basis with pupils who can often be difficult in their behaviours and pupils who struggle academically. The pupils may display verbal or physically aggressive behaviour and candidates who hold their Team Teach qualification will be favoured.
The candidate must be hard working, have a strong work ethic and be willing to work with pupils who display difficult behaviours. The candidate must have experience in a support role, whether that be with adults or children.
The successful candidate will benefit from:
* Negotiable pay rates £51-61 per day
