Teaching Personnel are currently looking for an SEN Specialist Learning Support Assistant to work in a school in Bournemouth.

The role will be a 1:1 with a child in a KS2 class who has particular learning needs and works at a KS1 level. The ideal candidate will have a high level of experience in an SEN school setting.

The role of a Learning support Assistant is a diverse one, with the expectation of good behaviour management , strong educational background and a desire to work in our partner primary schools.The successful candidate must be able to :

Assist with prepared lessons in all areas of the school curriculum

Maintain a level of respect, control and discipline within the classroom on individuals or groups you support

Liaise with colleagues to ensure unity and support are in place

Most importantly, we want to recruit candidates who are passionate about working with young people. This role demands enthusiasm, patience, and a diverse set of skills. We need candidates who are willing to step up to this challenging role with ardour and confidence that they can help to develop and nurture these young minds on their way to success.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
