Learning Support Assistant

Are you a graduate looking for an exciting new opportunity this September?

Are you thinking about doing a PGCE in the future and want valuable teaching experience?

Teaching Personnel are seeking a Learning support Assistant, to work at our client's secondary school in Central Manchester. If you are a graduate and want to get into teaching, this is the perfect opportunity for you. As a Learning Support Assistant you will be working in a number of roles within a secondary school gaining invaluable classroom experience.

The Learning Support Assistant role will involved general classroom support, 1 to 1 intervention sessions for students who are struggling in your specialist subject, behaviour support and SEN support.

  • Learning Support Assistant
  • Located in Central Manchester
  • Starting in September in the new academic year
  • Competitive pay, paid on a weekly basis (£259 - £309)
  • Flexible working hours

With the new academic year approaching, our client's secondary school is looking for a graduate who is passionate about teaching, aspiring to become a qualified teacher in the future, to work as a Learning Support Assistant. With an excellent team of teachers and support team, as a Learning Support Assistant you will be given all the help needed to learn and grow as a teacher.

The successful Learning Support Assistant will;

  • Have previous experience working in a learning environment
  • Have aspirations to become a teacher in the future
  • Be a graduate with a specialised subject knowledge
  • Be a confident and outgoing person to interact and engage with the students
  • Have a good general knowledge on the main core subjects (Maths, English and Science)
