Learning Support Assistant

Our partner secondary school based in Greater Manchester are looking to recruit an experienced Learning Support Assistant to start September 2018 for the rest of the academic year.

Teaching Personnel are seeking a Learning Support Assistant with experience working in a secondary school environment in KS3. This secondary school is a busy, vibrant friendly environment with a supportive ethos.

  • Full time Learning Support Assistant role starting September 2018
  • Pay expectation for the day £55-80 dependant on experience
  • Ofsted graded Good with a supportive management team
  • Located in Greater Manchester
  • Prior experience working with SEND

The school are looking to recruit a qualified Learning Support Assistant to join this vibrant school. They currently seek a Learning Support Assistant who has previous experience working with children with SEN. The aspiring Learning Support Assistant is required to have experience with learners with learning difficulties and medical conditions, the role will consist of supporting learners in the classroom and working alongside the teacher.

The school are looking for an enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join a very well structured department. This is a challenging yet rewarding role which will provide you to work with a very welcoming team and you will be supported throughout your time by working with excellent, like minded practitioners.

The incoming Learning Support Assistant role will involve supporting learners on a one to one basis, providing group support to low ability pupils. Our partner school are looking to recruit an experienced Learning Support Assistant that can develop strong relationships with young people and to have an understanding of the needs of students with SEN and a variety of learning difficulties.

Located in Manchester our partner school can be accessed from Rochdale, Bury and Oldham and accesses to M6 motorway and good transport links. For non drivers access to public transportation links from Manchester City Centre and Rochdale directly to the school.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
