We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join a nurturing and inclusive specialist school in Somerset.
This full-time role offers the opportunity to work across a wide age range, from Early Years through to Key Stage 4.

Your Responsibilities as a Learning Support Assistant

Work closely with teaching staff to support learning in and out of the classroom

Offer 1:1 and small group support tailored to pupils’ individual learning plans

Promote independence, emotional wellbeing and social development

Assist in delivering creative, differentiated lessons suited to students' needs

Support behaviour management strategies in a calm, respectful manner

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
