Are you passionate about supporting young people with diverse needs? A forward-thinking and inclusive provision in Cheddar is seeking a full-time Teaching Assistant to join their dedicated team. This highly supportive setting provides tailored education and care to learners aged 8 to 25 with a range of needs, including autism, learning disabilities, and social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) challenges.
The school prides itself on its therapeutic approach and personalised learning programmes that help students re-engage with education and develop vital life and emotional regulation skills. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in the classroom and during individual or small group interventions, working closely with teachers and therapeutic staff. Your work will support academic development, as well as emotional wellbeing and personal growth, fostering positive relationships and providing consistent, meaningful support.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
