Learning Support Assistant (Further Education) - Gosport
Term Time Only. £13.75 per hour. Through Teaching Personnel

Teaching Personnel are seeking dedicated Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) to join a Further Education provision in Gosport, providing high-quality classroom support to students aged 16–19.

This is a term-time only position with variable hours each day, ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic learning environment and is looking to make a real impact on students’ educational journeys.

Role Overview:

• Support students within a classroom or on a 1:1/small group basis

• Assist learners with Special Educational Needs (SEN), including ASD, ADHD, and other additional needs

• Encourage independence, confidence, and engagement in lessons

• Work collaboratively with teaching staff to ensure every student receives the support they need

The Ideal Candidate:

• Has experience supporting learners with SEN or additional learning needs

• Demonstrates strong communication and classroom support skills

• Is adaptable, patient, and committed to helping students achieve their goals

• Holds or is willing to undergo an enhanced DBS check

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
