Learning Support Assistant – Primary SEN School

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Learning Support Assistants to join our agency team, working in a welcoming Primary SEN school. This is a rewarding opportunity to provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils with a range of additional needs, helping them to thrive both academically and personally.

Role Responsibilities:

• Support pupils with a variety of SEN needs, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and learning difficulties.

• Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and accessible lessons.

• Provide tailored one-to-one or small group interventions.

• Encourage independence, confidence, and positive behaviour.

• Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment.

Requirements:

• Experience working with children or young people, ideally within SEN or education settings.

• A calm, empathetic, and adaptable approach.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

• Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.

• A valid DBS check (or willingness to apply).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
