SEN Learning Support Assistant
Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a specialist school in Blackpool to recruit a dedicated SEN Learning Support Assistant to support children and young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN). This is a fantastic opportunity to secure a long-term role with the view to transition to a permanent contract.
The Role:
-
Supporting pupils with a range of SEN, including autism (ASC), ADHD, SEMH and learning difficulties

Working 1:1 and in small groups to support engagement, progress and independence
-
Assisting the class teacher with classroom management and learning activities
-
Encouraging positive behaviour and promoting inclusion
The Ideal Candidate:
-
Previous experience working with children/young people with SEN (school, residential, youth work, or care background all considered)

Calm, patient, and resilient with excellent communication skills
-
Able to build positive relationships and encourage pupils to reach their potential
-
Flexible and committed to long-term progression

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
