Our client, a well-established primary SEN school in Burnley, is seeking a reliable and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full-time basis. Role responsibilities:

• Deliver one-to-one and small group support tailored to pupils’ needs

• Assist with classroom activities and interventions designed to support learning and development

• Foster independence and positive social interactions

• Collaborate closely with teaching staff and families to ensure the best outcomes for children

Ideal candidate:

• Experience working with children in SEN or similar settings preferred

• Patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach

• Strong communication skills and a team player mindset

• Passionate about making a positive impact on children’s lives

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
