Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM
Pay Rate: £13.75 – £14.50 per hour (dependent on experience)

Our client, a well-respected primary SEN school in Colne, is currently recruiting a caring and dedicated Additional Needs Assistant to join their team full-time. This is a brilliant opportunity to provide vital support to pupils with a range of additional needs in a nurturing and inclusive setting.

Key responsibilities:

Provide one-to-one and small group support tailored to children’s individual additional needs

Assist teachers in delivering personalised learning activities and interventions

Promote independence, social skills, and positive behaviour

Work collaboratively with staff and families to ensure children’s needs are met effectively
What we’re looking for:

Previous experience in SEN, additional needs, or similar roles is preferred
-
Empathy, patience, and a positive approach to supporting children
-
Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team
-
A genuine passion for making a difference in children’s educational journeys

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
