Pay Rate: £13.75 – £14.50 per hour (dependent on experience)

Our client, a well-respected primary SEN school in Colne, is currently recruiting a caring and dedicated Additional Needs Assistant to join their team full-time. This is a brilliant opportunity to provide vital support to pupils with a range of additional needs in a nurturing and inclusive setting.

Key responsibilities:

• Provide one-to-one and small group support tailored to children’s individual additional needs

• Assist teachers in delivering personalised learning activities and interventions

• Promote independence, social skills, and positive behaviour

• Work collaboratively with staff and families to ensure children’s needs are met effectively

What we’re looking for:

• Previous experience in SEN, additional needs, or similar roles is preferred

• Empathy, patience, and a positive approach to supporting children

• Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team

• A genuine passion for making a difference in children’s educational journeys
