Are you passionate about supporting young people to overcome barriers to learning? A welcoming and inclusive secondary school in Audenshaw is seeking a caring and proactive Learning Support Assistant to join their team from September.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to make a real difference in the classroom, particularly supporting students with SEN, EHCPs, or additional learning needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with a range of needs

• Assist teachers in planning and delivering lessons that meet all learners’ needs

• Promote inclusion, independence, and confidence in and out of the classroom

• Help implement behaviour and learning strategies under the guidance of the SENCO

• Support the wider school environment through pastoral and classroom-based duties

Ideal Candidate:

• Experience working with young people or in an educational or care setting

• Empathetic, patient, and enthusiastic about helping students thrive

• Good communication skills and a team-focused mindset

• Knowledge of SEN strategies or an interest in developing in this area

• Reliable, organised, and calm under pressure
