Job description

a teaching assistant to work in their KS4 classes with students with BESD and SEMH. The role is looking to commence immediately on a temporary basis, however there is strong likelihood that a permanent contract will be offered to the right candidate. A Team Teach qualification is highly desirable for this position, due to the nature of the behaviour in the school.

The candidate will be responsible for helping students meet their personal goals, and preparing them for life after school. You will be supporting in lessons not just for academic qualifications but also for life skills and employability, you will be a strong role model for the students and passionate about making a difference to their education.

The ideal candidate will have:

-Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or relevant experience/degree)

- At least three months experience in an SEND environment
- Excellent behaviour management skills
- A patient and caring attitude
