KS3/4 ASC Teacher - Northallerton (DL6)

Job description

Teaching Personnel are currently working on behalf of an SEND school in Northallerton (DL6), who are looking to recruit an enthusiastic ASC Teacher for K3/4 students. The role will start with immediate effect and will be on going for the foreseeable future. You will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced special needs teachers as well as specialist teaching assistants. An enthusiastic and proactive teacher is required to work with ASC students across key stages. You will have a desire for working with children and be looking to make a real difference. You must be a strong role model, motivated and dedicated to providing outstanding teaching, the role will include assisting the children with day to day life skills as well as curriculum based knowledge. Ideally you will have experience of working within an educational setting with students with ASC; however individuals with a desire to work in this field or relevant experience will also be strongly considered.

The ideal candidate will have:

At least six months experience in an SEND environment
-Experience working with students with Autism
-Qualified Teacher Status
- Excellent behaviour management skills
- A patient and caring attitude

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
