Job description

A one form entry, Ofsted 'Good' primary school located in Portsmouth, has come to teaching personnel with the requirement of a key stage 2 teacher for their staffing team this September.

To be short listed for this Key Stage 2 Teaching role for September, you will need to have a proven track record of raising attainment within KS2. The capability to use formative and summative assessment must be demonstrated and you will be expected to follow the school policy of a weekly planning cycle.

The head has expressed that there is mixed ability in the class, meaning planning for three way differentiation will be required. This is role that will offer you new opportunities to professionally develop and be welcomed in to a close nit community.

The school has recently converted to an academy which is an exciting time for new opportunities and plans. The Trust will ensure that our schools continue to flourish and improve and provide enhanced opportunities for pupils and staff.
