School and Role Details: The school is a large 3 form entry Primary school situated in the Didsbury (M20) area of South Manchester. The School is an Ofsted graded "GOOD" Primary School that is seeking someone to join there excellent staff team.

The Head is seeking to appoint a strong Teaching Assistant that would be capable of delivering support across all year groups in KS2. This would mean floating around the classes and helping out by delivering interventions in Maths and English or filling in within the class when additional support is needed. The role also offers the right candidate potential opportunities for personal and professional development.

Requirements:

  • A passionate, engaging and motivated personality
  • Transferable skills i.e. sports, art, and academic
  • At least 5 A-C GCSE grades
  • Experience working/volunteering with children
  • Ambition for career development
  • High expectations for all students and the determination to help all children succeed
  • The willingness to immerse themselves in all aspects of the school, extra curricular etc
