Job description

If so a Roman Catholic Primary school in the Tameside area is looking to appoint a KS2 class teacher to work with their KS2 setting starting after Feburary half term. The school is a smaller than average school. The school is single form entry, which looks to create an inclusive environment support the needs of both pupils and staff.

A successful applicant should:

  • Have a strong knowledge of the KS2 national curriculum
  • Be able to demonstrate good practice, ensuring that all pupils are able to make progress
  • Be able to differentiate tasks to ensure that all pupils learning needs are met.
  • Be able to create an inclusive learning environment to ensure that no child is left behind
  • Be able to support a catholic ethos.
  • Be able to implement effective behaviour management techniques
  • Be a good communicator and be able to work as part of a team
  • Preferably be a practising Roman Catholic, although not essential
