KS2 Teacher – Primary School | Barnsley | September 2025 or Immediate Start
Are you an enthusiastic and experienced KS2 Teacher looking for a new challenge in a supportive and forward-thinking Barnsley primary school? We are currently recruiting for a Key Stage 2 class teacher who is committed to delivering high-quality education and inspiring young learners.
Location: Barnsley
Role: KS2 Class Teacher
Start Date: September 2025 (or immediate start available)
⏰ Contract: Full-time | Long-term or temp-to-perm
Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:
- Planning and delivering engaging lessons across the KS2 curriculum
- Monitoring and assessing pupil progress
- Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Supporting pupils of varying abilities, including those with additional needs
- Working collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and support staff
✅ What We're Looking For:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching in KS2 within a UK primary school
- A strong understanding of the national curriculum and assessment
- Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
