KS2 TA Level 3 required within a Partington Primary Academy

  • CACHE Level 3 Qualification is essential for this role
  • Opportunity to secure a longer term/perm position. Start dates ASAP and up until Easter.
  • Partnership School who call upon Teaching Personnel on a day to day basis.

Teaching Personnel is working in partnership school located in Partington. The school are looking to recruit Level 3 Qualified Teaching Assistants to work within the KS2 department of the two form entry school. Due to the nature of a couple of children within school, they are looking for a teaching assistant to come in and support behaviour and learning within school.

The Head Teacher describes the vision of the school as, 'It is our aim to welcome each child into a learning environment which will help stimulate and facilitate their development. We aim to encourage each child to reach his or her full potential. It is the belief of the staff and the governing body, that it is our mission to create and uphold a family atmosphere which provides not only a place to learn, but a comfortable, safe and caring environment for the child.

As preparation for life in the community we will encourage each child with fairness and equality and acknowledge the uniqueness of the individual whilst encouraging a common understanding and acceptance of appropriate behaviour.' There is the potential for the positions to continue for the rest of the academic year.

The school can offer outstanding facilities, a great, supportive staff team and an outstanding commitment to developing the careers of support assistants.

The Ideal Person…

  • Will have strong behaviour management skills and self confidence
  • Will have a positive attitude, personality, high energy and motivation and good work ethic
  • Will be willing to deal with a potentially disruptive child sometimes showing signs of aggression
  • Be available to trial or start the role ASAP.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
