Teaching Personnel are working with a mainstream Primary School in the Helston area of Cornwall who are seeking a part-time Teaching Assistant (0.8 FTE) to start as soon as possible.

The position they are looking to fill is to support a year 4 child on a 1:1 basis. Experience and/or knowledge of supporting children or young adults with PDA (Pathological Demand Avoidance) is preferential - although not mandatory.

The successful applicant will be required to work 3 full days and 2 mornings each week, although the Head Teacher is willing to be flexible as to which days these can be.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
