A welcoming and inclusive primary school in the S36 area of Sheffield is seeking a committed and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to support teaching and learning across Key Stage 2. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in pupil progress and development within a supportive school setting.

Role: KS2 Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)

Start Date: September 2025

⏰ Contract: Full-time | Long-term (potential for permanent placement)

Key Responsibilities:

• Delivering lessons and interventions in KS2, in the absence of the teacher
• Supporting pupils in small groups and on a 1:1 basis
• Assisting with planning, preparation, and classroom management
• Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to support individual needs
• Promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment

✅ Requirements:

• HLTA qualification (Level 4 or above)
• Proven experience supporting pupils in KS2
• Strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum and learning needs
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
