Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant – Barry, Vale of Glamorgan
Start date: ASAP – Contract until: April 2026
 Pay: From £90 per day (paid weekly, every Friday)
About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a busy, well-established primary school in Barry. You’ll be working within a vibrant Primary team that supports over 500 pupils. The team is highly organised, collaborative, and committed to providing the best start in education for every child.

About You
We’re looking for someone who is:
- 
Experienced in working within KS1 or within a Primary School setting 
- 
Confident and adaptable, with a hands-on, can-do attitude 
- 
Ideally experienced in supporting children with ALN (preferred, not essential) 
- 
Fully registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC) 
Successful applicants will need to complete a 30-minute face-to-face registration with Teaching Personnel, including reference and DBS checks.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
