About the role

-Nursery Assistant required from ASAP until April 2026

-Required to work in a busy primary setting, that caters for over 500 children. It is extremely well run by a hardworking team in Early Years who are highly organised, and work exceptionally well as a group

-Pay rate starts at £90 per day and you get paid weekly every Friday

-Large well known primary school in Barry, Vale of Glamorgan

-Excellent transport links by bus, train and access to free parking

The school offers strong support for pupils with additional learning needs (ALN), including effective provision for emotional and social well-being. About you

-Previous experience of working within Early Years / KS1

-Experience of working with children with Additional Learning Needs (ALN) preferred but not essential

-You must have a can-do attitude and hands on approach in regards to working as part of a large team within a busy primary

-You will also need to be fully registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC)

-To be put forward for this role, you would need to undergo a 30-minute face to face registration with Teaching Personnel which would include reference and DBS checks
