KS2 Teaching Assistant – Penarth
Start Date: Monday 3rd November
Duration: Long-term placement until Christmas
Location: Penarth
We are looking for a confident and resilient KS2 Teaching Assistant to support a Year 5/6 class in a welcoming Primary School in Penarth. This is a long-term position starting Monday 3rd November, running through until the Christmas holidays.
You’ll be working with a lively and challenging Year 5/6 class, supporting pupils both in small groups and on a one-to-one basis, helping them stay focused and make progress in their learning.
✨ The ideal candidate will:

Have experience supporting pupils in KS2 (particularly Upper KS2)

Be confident managing challenging behaviour and maintaining positive relationships
-
Be proactive, patient, and able to adapt quickly within the classroom

Be reliable and fully committed for the duration of the placement

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
