KS1 Teaching Assistant – Full Time (Monday – Friday) – Matlock- DE4
Teaching Personnel are looking for a confident KS1 teaching assistant to join one of our partnership schools based in Matlock (DE4) for a full time role (Monday – Friday). The role is to start as soon as possible up to July 2020 with the potential to turn into a permanent role.
The school believes we are 'learner's for life…’ The staffs at the school continuously reflects on learning to ensure that they continually meet the needs or their pupils, in an ever changing work and promoting life learning for all. They are looking for a teaching assistant who will be able to provide their Year 1 classroom support and ensure that the children stay focused. As a TA you'll support pupils across a range of abilities as well as undertaking duties that free up a teacher's time, such as preparing the classroom.
To be considered for the role, you must have:
- Relevant experience within primary schools
- GCSE, A level or Degree (or equivalent)
- Knowledge of the curriculum
- Enhanced DBS on the online update service
- Right to work in the UK
- 2 relevant references that we can approach
- A confident approach, knows how to adapt well in different situations
