KS1 Teacher - Swadlincote - Full Time - September 2019

Teaching Personnel are looking for a KS1 Teacher for a full time position for a school based in Swadlincote starting in September 2019 up until the end of the academic year. This is a temporary contract with the potential to turn permanent for the ideal candidate.

The ideal candidate is required to undertake the following responsibilities:

  • To further the development of Key Stage 1
  • Monitoring and evaluating progress towards the successful achievement of the policies
  • To work cooperatively with colleagues in the implementation of the School Improvement Plan and support the school aims and ethos
  • To set a high standard professionally and personally and to set a good example
  • To support the Principal in order to co-ordinate the duties and responsibilities of other members of KS1 staff and encourage their career and personal development
  • To provide planning and coverage support for KS1 teachers
  • To lead and create caring, purposeful, attractive and stimulating environments which are conducive to children's learning

To be considered for the role, the ideal candidate must have:

  • Experience working in KS1
  • Experience and success in leading a curriculum area (core and foundation subjects.)
  • Relevant references
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Enhanced DBS - online update service
