KS1 Teacher

Vacancy from January 2021 to join a supportive and vibrant primary school in Oldham on a permanent basis.

Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a school in the Chadderton area of Oldham to support their recruitment for a Year 1 teacher. This is a permanent opportunity to join the KS1 team in the new academic year, you’ll be working in a popular and oversubscribed two form entry primary school with high expectations of staff and students. The school caters for over 250 pupils from the surrounding area, situated in Oldham roughly 10 minutes from the town centre and closely connected to the A663. Due to a current staff member moving to pastures new, the Head teacher is seeking to appoint a highly competent and skilled Year 1 teacher to the team on a full time and permanent basis in January 2021.

The successful Year 1 teacher joining this school will work closely with the KS1 team and other teachers to ensure high standards of teaching are maintained. Collaborative and shared planning, in addition to regular CPD and whole school training are at the forefront of the schools offerings. You will be responsible for a Year 1 class with currently 29 pupils, facilities in school are modern and creative Artwork is encouraged by the leadership team. In the most recent Ofsted inspection the school received elements of Outstanding, notably leadership as a strength of the school, teaching in this school will be a positive experience and an excellent opportunity to develop your practice in an outstanding environment.
