KS1 Interventions Teacher

A client school in the Openshaw area of Manchester (M11) are looking for an interventions teacher to join their staffing team on a full time basis from May. This position will be to work across the schools 3, Year 2 classes, taking out small intervention groups through out the day to help raise attainment in core subject areas. The ideal candidate will plan and deliver the intervention sessions, working alongside the class teacher to monitor attainment and assess next steps. Experience in KS1 is essential.

The position is to work in a larger than average, two form entry primary school alongside other KS1 professionals. This 'OUTSTANDING' primary school prides itself on 'embracing diversity' and 'bringing out the best in every child'. The ideal candidate will be flexible, adaptable and have a passion for raising attainment across KS1. The successful candidate will deliver intervention sessions across the two Year 2 classes and will be required to take the full class in the absence of the teacher.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
