This is a position in an Ofsted graded GOOD primary school on the outskirts of Blackburn. The role will be to begin as soon as next week with the view to continuing until at least Christmas 2019. The school are keen to appoint a candidate with a bright and bubbly personality and preferably someone who can build solid relationships with the children. The Head teacher is keen to support her KS1 children with intelligent staff members who can extend learning opportunities in phonics and particularly in writing quality. The role is to cover a member of staff who is not expected back in school and so there is good long term longevity. The working hours are expected to be 0900-1530 with ½ hour unpaid lunch. You will work under the leadership of the class teacher and be line-managed by the SENCO in school. You will have the opportunity to share best practice at INSET sessions; receive regular feedback and observations; undergo detailed appraisals.
