KS1 Class Teacher

A thriving Catholic primary school, within the Diocese of Salford, are currently looking to appoint a KS1 Teacher to start from September. Staff at the school, through dedication and commitment, strives to give the best possible education to each child. The school prides itself on its success, achievements and strong Christian Ethos.

The position is to cover a maternity leave and will be a 1 year fix term contract.

To be successful you will need to:

  • Be able to demonstrate outstanding teaching practice ensuring that you are able to meet the needs of all learners and maintaining the school's high standards.
  • Have a strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum.
  • Experience in year 2 is preferable.
  • Have a strong phonics knowledge.
  • Be experienced using Talk for Write.
  • Be a team player and contribute effectively to the work of the Senior Leadership Team.
  • Promote a rich, broad, varied and exiting creative curriculum in the classroom.
  • Raise standards and achievement.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
