KS1/2 SEN TEACHER - MIDDLESBROUGH

Teaching Personnel are working with a specialist SEND school in Middlesbrough (TS4) to recruit a full time Primary Years Teacher on a temporary basis. The role will commence ASAP, with strong potential for a permanent contract for the right candidate. The position will involve working with a small class of students across KS2 with varying SEND, including MLD, SLD, SEMH and ASC. The candidate will need to have good, broad curriculum knowledge, as well as being enthusiastic and a positive role model for the students! Qualifications such as Team Teach are desirable but not required, care work and other relevant experience is also considered.
You will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced special needs teachers as well as specialist teaching assistants. Candidates with experience working with SEN in mainstream or SEN environments are welcome to apply.
The ideal candidate will have:
-At least six months teaching in an SEND environment
-Qualified Teacher Status
- Excellent behaviour management skills
- A patient and caring attitude
