Job description

From Easter 2019, Teaching Personnel are seeking to appoint a Key Stage 2 Teacher, to support a class with an average of 7 or 8 children. Teaching Personnel are supporting a client provision in Fulford, York who have a continuous intake of children and would like you to be a Teacher of choice for them! Due to the business needs of the school and the uncertainties around pupil numbers and future class sizes this will be a placement through Teaching Personnel on a supply long term basis.

The successful candidate will:

  • Be an outstanding practitioner with a passion and commitment to cross curricular teaching and learning.
  • Have a proven track record of strong outcomes for pupils in Key Stage 2.
  • Be Knowledgeable about the Key Stage 2 curriculum and be able to interpret assessment information to plan future learning.
  • Able to follow and take on board advice and guidance from colleagues.
  • Be willing to lead a curriculum area.
  • Be able to differentiate lesson plans according to the needs of the pupils.
  • Have experience with Phonics programmes, specifically Letters and Sounds in particular.
